| The traditional corner-shop exterior of the premises at 256 East Barnet Road has hardly changed since I got my first job there as an ironmonger's assistant in 1959, but the contents of the shop are obviously very different ! Could it be merely a coincidence that part of the name of the present owner is an anagram of Coe - the name of the ironmonger? |
