Nigel Wood kindly sent these images an old atlas (published Meiklejohn & Son Limited, London 1945!) that he took home with him from QE around 1961.  Cocks was actually giving them away, as they were being replaced!  The word 'cancelled' is in Cocks's writing - so Nigel has in his possession a first class Cocks relic!  As he points out, two of the previous 'owners' are contributors to this very site.  (He hasn't steamed off the label to see the names on the one underneath!.  The initials in the last column are those of Alford (probably), Cocks and Dilley. Nigel isn't certain whether this was replaced by the Empire edition of the Phillips School Atlas which Mr Hersom mentions in Thread 32, reply 139 .
