| This plant is sometimes said not to be very common other than in Scotland and Southern England (as two different sub-species), but it abounds in the valleys of South Wales. This is one of hundreds growing in Parc Bryn Bach in Blaenau Gwent. This photo makes it look quite tall, but it doesn't grow much higher than about 9 inches. |
