| This low-growing but often bushy or sprawling annual is to be found just about everywhere in Britain, especially on stony waste ground and growing in cracks in walls and pavements. Considering there was plenty growing out of cracks in my own front garden wall, it's rather strange that I decided to photograph this particular tangle on the footpath above the former home of Dylan Thomas in Talacharn (Laughan). I think the reason was that I've never before seen such a massive carpet of it. However, you can't even begin to see the full extent of it in this pic ! |
